January: A Month of Momentum

Happy (kind of sort of still) New Year! My 2026 came in very hot because so many of you are SPEEDING through the job search … hence me sending out the newsletter at the end of the month. 🙏

Anywho, I’m beyond excited to head into the rest of 2026 with y’all. I know the past few weeks in particular have been heavy and heartbreaking on a collective level, so if you’re feeling like “am I really sending emails at a time like this?” you’re not alone. 🤍

For the newbies, I’m a full-time career coach who has helped hundreds of people on the job search. I cover every stage of the search: 1) figuring out where you want to go next, 2) getting your first round of interviews, and 3) preparing for all rounds of interviews. I also talk about career development, but the job market has been pretty center stage the past few years.

What’s Happening In My World

For the not newbies, hiii. 🫶 I’ve gotten lots of questions from clients and pod listeners about where in the world I’ve physically been, because my plans have been a bit all over the place.

Now that things are finally settling (my personal word for the year is “root”), I wanted to share the latest and greatest:

• I’m (almost) officially a LA resident again! I lived here right after college, in the golden era that was 2016, and I’m over the moon to be back. I’m moving into my permanent place later in February.

• Which means, I’m finally doing my Costa Rica trip before my lease starts! It’s a bit more truncated than originally planned, and I’ll be in the Santa Teresa area, so if you have any recommendations pleaseee send them along.

• LA Client Crew - It is a top priority to get everyone together in person this Spring once I’m fully settled, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

The fact that I have so many incredible people who invest their time and energy to keep up with me is never lost on me, thank you for the endless good vibes. ✨

Okay … now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
